Redding Tile & Stone in Redding, CA was started over 25 years ago by Charles Candelaria, who was know by his friends and peers as Chuck. Chuck packed up his belongings, his wife Brenda and daughters Maria and Christina, and left behind everything he knew in the big city of San Jose to come up to Redding and provide a whole new life for his family. Chuck was an entrepreneur and he started Redding Tile (& Stone to be added later) out of the home office like most successful businesses of their time. He took pride in his business and made a habit of visiting his job sites to make sure that the quality was always to his high standards. Chuck didn’t just build a great business. He built a legacy that was passed on to his family.

When Chuck passed away in 2014, his wife Brenda, along with her sister-in-law, Antoinette Mendoza took over the operations of the business. They have dedicated themselves daily, with blood, sweat, and tears to keep the vision of Redding Tile & Stone alive and to provide that same top-notch sales and service that Chuck started so many years ago. Brenda, a recent conqueror of cancer, has two daughters; Christina and Maria. Brenda loves her horses and tending to her garden. Antoinette has two children of her own; Aaron and Gabrielle.
